Works Great if used properly

Have been using this for years in my Viking Pool. This is a type of pool similar to but more substantial than a standard Fiberglass pool. It has a gelcoat surface, not plaster.

In Las Vegas, the hard mineral filled water really builds up a stain over time.

About twice per year I have to use a whole bottle for my 13500 gal Pool as an "initial" dose

Then every week, EVERY week, you put in 4-6 oz. You have to do this like religion, or it won't continue to work.

Stain is removed (where does it go?) Vents are snow white, pool has no stain.

Stop using it, stain returns. Hmmm. So maybe not a perfect or permanent solution (pun intended) but pretty darn good if you want a new looking pool.

If you have a metal stain, or other stain it will remove it over time, but not necessarily overnight. For all the stains I have had over time, from one cause or another (pollen, kids BB's dropping into the pool, hard water, etc) none have ever remained permanent.

It will not remove scale unfortunately, but it does remove any stain, embedded in the scale, which is usually how it works with stain and scale.

I use it with Salt Protect, at the same time.

TMI ... I have been using these BioDex products for TEN years now, they are really great as a whole. You can add any combination of these to your pool at the same time with no adverse reaction one chem to the other. They never irritate skin, keep my pool just sparkling clear as can be.

I have even called the company, spoken to the owner, who is a kind, friendly and helpful person. Taking time with me and my questions. He is also the chemical engineer who formulated these products, so his help and info are genuine and valuable

Also, these products are heavily used in the commercial pools out here in the southwest, another indicator of quality.

We have spent a fair amount on these chems over the years.

The stability of a good product line, is probably worth the money spent.

I guess one just has to pay up sometimes, cost o...

Works to keep stains off

We never have stains, such as copper, anywhere on the pool with a weekly small dose of this in our inground 25000 gal. pool. Previous summers we have had stains.
