Roy City Aquatic Center- Featuring three pools, kids can enjoy the water slides and playground while adults relax on the lounge chairs or do some laps in the designated lap pool.

Layton City Surf ‘N Swim- Layton’s Surf ‘N Swim is a hidden gem that features a fun wave pool as well as a regular pool if that’s more up your alley. Most people don’t know that it sets up an enclosed bubble during the winter so you can enjoy it all year round. It also offers lessons, lap swimming, open wave and senior swim exercise.

Dimple Dell Fitness and Recreation Center- This Sandy pool features a large waterslide and water playground area as well as a large lap pool. Perfect for all ages, it is open from 5pm-8:30pm Monday through Thursday, 3pm-7:30pm on Fridays, 11am-7:30pm on Saturdays and 10am-2:30pm on Sundays. Public and private swim lessons are available and are offered in the mornings, afternoons and evenings. Water aerobics and various swim teams and lessons are also available.

Fairmont Aquatics Center- Fairmont is conveniently located in Sugarhouse, about 10 minutes away from downtown Salt Lake City. It features daily, 30-day and summer long passes. Children age 2 and younger and seniors age 80 or older are free. The aquatic center has a swim team, offers swim lessons, aqua Zumba, adult masters lap swim and swim team and offers after-hours pool rentals.

Northwest Recreation Center-Located near the Utah State Fairpark in Salt Lake City, this pool features youth swim teams, lessons for all ages, lane swim and an extensive leisure pool with slides and play structures. A kiddie pool of up to 3 feet deep is also on site for new swimmers and little ones.

JL Sorenson Aquatic Center-Located a little southwest of Salt Lake City in Herriman, J.L. Sorenson’s swimming pool includes a ton of fun features including a large play structure, giant bucket, last review, and so much more. It also offers a variety of swim lessons including children and adult sessions, master’s lap swim, water polo and diving clinics. The aquatic center rents out pool space and pool toys for an additional fee.

Steiner West Aquatic Center-This Salt Lake City pool may not have slides and play areas like most of the other pools mentioned on this list, but it is a great pool to go to if you are looking to swim some laps or get swim lessons for your children. It features lessons from youth to adult and a lane pool with clock timers.
