Throw the Perfect Fall Swimming Pool Party
I know what you are thinking, it is getting cold, I am getting ready to winterize my pool and you want me to have a swimming pool party?
Yes! Think about it, you don’t have to actually swim at a pool party unless you want to. If you live in some of the warmer parts of the country the weather may still be agreeable for swimming. If you heat your pool it is still warm enough, or you could just have a backyard party where your pool is a beautiful centerpiece. There are many fun ways to enjoy your swimming pool in fall.
For a simple fall setting, instead of swimming towels pass out lap blankets to your guests; decorate with tiki torches around the yard. Roast hot dogs, if you have a fire pit in your yard and let everyone roast marshmallows and make s’mores while enjoying a light show in your swimming pool. If you don’t have a fire pit cook some delicious fall desserts or serve hot cocoa and pumpkin cookies or muffins.
If it is still warm enough in your area for swimming into October, have a Halloween Pool Party! Have someone dress up in a scary costume and chase the kids into the swimming pool. Decorate with carved jack o’ lanterns around your yard and if you have Color Changing LED Pool Lights leave they set on purples or greens. Play haunted pool games and enjoy the fall setting; it is truly a much different experience from a summer pool party but just as fun if not more. It will be a memorable experience for you and your guests!
Just because it is past Labor Day does not mean that all your swimming pool enjoyment is over for the year, start a new tradition with a fun fall swimming pool party!
