I've had my IntelliPH and IntelliChlor IC40 system for 8 years and really love the results and ease of use. I replace the IntelliPH Pumphead about every one or two seasons. No matter how durable, acid will eventually break down the tubing inside the pumphead. This is just normal wear from a strong acid. It is really simple to replace. If you can use a phillips screwdriver, you can change it.
So far, after installing a week ago, the product is doing as it should. Wish installation instructions came with it as there are two nuts leftover from the package holding the screws.
Sunplay is probably not at fault for this, but rather Pentair. Hate giving such a high rating for such a short period of time. I'm hoping it keeps working for at least a year, something the last Pentair Pumphead did not. The last Pentair Pumphead had an indicator on the side to change it yearly, but it lasted only 10 months which of course was a disappointment. Sunplay delivered what we asked for in a timely manner.
We live in Arizona, and every year our Intelliph feeder stops pumping in the summer. This little part is easy to change out and totally fixes the problem. Back to automatic acid feeding!
