Wrong part for heater, advertising said it was for master temp heater. Threads were too big

It worked after it was first installed, then it didn't work the second time we tried it; then it worked another time and when tried today it didn't work again. Do you have any other solution?

I bought abut two months ago. Installed new prusher switch it was a exact match right down to the part number, Working grate so far for about a week and a half.

The only draw back was shipping it took about 3 weeks to receive it. Expected it to arrive in about 8 days.
