Pentair Suntouch Enclosure Latch

Why this piece. Of plastic costs so much is beyond me, but at least here they sell it for about $15 less than anywhere else. I have left the cover without a latch for at least five years because I was unwilling to pay $50 for a piece of plastic.

The latch works fine. I found it a bit difficult to get the old one broken latch off. Had to use a hand hacksaw. But then once it was removed, I used heavy duty Gorilla double sided tape to fasten the new latch. Works fine.

It broke a week after installation

I bought this last week and it was a perfect replacement. Best price I found, too.
