    Floats = FAIL

    The skimmer basket is good quality, except it FLOATS. It has some weight in the bottom, but not enough. To get it to work I'll have to replace the weight in the bottom, with a glued in rock, or something. Bad design, never tested. Unless you want to modify it, to get it to work, buy something else.

    Solid replacement for price

    This basket does the job. It's weighted to keep the basket down. It is a little flimsy which tells me it won't hold up too long before it starts cracking, but for the price, it was exactly what I was looking for. I was worried about the sizing and it matched perfectly
