Overpriced for what it does

I got this drain kit but it seems overpriced for what it does. I ran the unit without the kit with no problem. The kit is a small insert to attach under the heat pump and then run a clear plastic tube to drain away the heat pump water condensation. Sort of a lot of money for this item!
