CHECK VALVE

Only reason I gave it one star is because you don't have a zero star!!
Check valve it isn't it leaks back pretty fast becuase of the gaps in the valve. it is a restrictor not a check valve.

Unlike Matts experience,I think the check valve works as intended.It is a 2" slipXslip connection with a wafer check that is flow driven.It opens when suction pressure is applied by your pump and closes when the suction pressure is turned off.Don't know what he was expecting.If you have very limited space to install this valve,(I had about 5")then this is the shortest valve you can get.

Calling this a check valve is optimistic at best. It uses tab ears to hod the valve portion to the body, and has no seal of any kind. Likewise the "check valve" portion is 2 hard plastic parts that also don't have any kind of sealing medium. I would say that this product is better described as a leak restriction.
