I like most everything about it except two items, one the company Leisure Concepts and the other is the support arm.
First, I was delivered the DM model (Deck Mount) but I didn’t have a deck to mount it to. There were no other directions or instructions on how to mount it to the hot tub. I had a feeling the plastic pivot arms could be mounded to the tub directly but no hardware was supplied and no directions on how to do it. I called Leisure concepts and finally got someone to work with. She couldn’t figure out why I got a deck mount and neither could I, I didn’t know there were other kinds. When purchasing it no options were discussed or mentioned. After a little discussion I was told that instructions on how to mount it could be downloaded from their website (Leisure Concepts). I downloaded the instructions and bought the needed hardware and finished the assembly. My suggestion for Leisure Concepts would be to have some more technically adept personnel to assist customers.
Second issue was with the support arm. After assembly the support arm wants to go to the upright position due to the air piston lift assists being under constant pressure. This caused stress on the vinyl material stretching it out by the constant lifting pressure by the support arm and pistons. This issue can be seen in a photo on their website. I cured this by putting internal weights in the support arm.
I know I have had some issues with cover lift but now that it’s installed to not cause damage to the tub cover I really like .
Leisure Concepts probably has a 90% cover lift right now, with the proper technical assistance they could easily fix their customer support and product issues.
