S.R. Smith's poolLUX Premier gives you a convenient way to control all of your pool lights with the touch of a button. This easy to use system allows for advanced lighting control, including color control and dimming capabilities, for your S.R. Smith Treo, Treo Micro, Fiberglass LED and Color Light Stream lights. Pre-programmed to operate six different color options and two unique light shows, the poolLUX Premier has the advanced capability of providing a total of 49 different color options. It also includes four dimming levels that allow you to simply dim or brighten your pool lights from the wireless remote control. The durable, outdoor rated housing of the poolLUX Premier is weather resistant and will not corrode over time.

So far so good

I bought this product to replace the Jandy system that came with the pool when I bought the house. The pool was built 5 years ago four light replacements were already done and two needed replaced. Keep in mind there are only three lights in the pool so most of those were replaced multiple times. I was done with the subpar Jandy equipment.

With the back ground complete I’ll move on to the SR Smith kit. The install was easy and straight forward. I tied a line to the end of the old light wire at the junction box and pulled the wire out of the conduit through the pool end then tied the new wire to the line now in the conduit and used it to pull the new wire through to the junction box. Worked like a charm for all three lights. ( I made sure it was tied firmly so it didn’t come apart half way through).

Connecting the lights and the power (through a 15amp gfi breaker) to the main box was easy enough and everything worked perfectly as soon as I flipped the breaker and turned it on.

As of yet I can’t say anything about the longevity of the lights yet since it’s only been a week but the install was easy. Sunplay shipped it about 5 days after I ordered it and it was packaged well. It arrived with no damage.

SUNPLAY DID THEIR PART.. Could use a little better install instructions from manufacturer... USE SEPARATE GFI BREAKER FOR INSTALL.... Trying to share a breaker tripped it immediately.,...
