Del Ozone AOP 40 Ozonator
The Del AOP 40 next generation of AOP is designed to give you everything you need in a high-powered advanced sanitizer.
DEL AOP is dramatically more powerful than chlorine and other sanitizers, and even more powerful than ozone alone. CMP has the only residential AOP ozone/UV systems classified by NSF as a supplemental sanitizer.
Next Gen AOP systems are not only powerful: they are designed for easy installation, simple service and smart feedback.
Features:
- UV and Ozone Sanitizing System
- Two sanitizers work together to create powerful Hydroxyl Radicals
- Hydroxyl radicals destroy certain viruses & bacteria . . . Plus other organic and inorganic pool water contaminants.
- Chloramines cause irritation and that familiar “pool smell.” AOP destroys sweat and other nasties that form chloramines in the water.
- Contaminants are destroyed and filtration is enhanced resulting in pure, polished, crystal-clear water.
- Powerful oxidation reduces the amount of chlorine needed to maintain a safe residual in the pool, saving you time and money.
- Full flow generates hydroxyls in the primary pool circulation
- Sensors actively monitor UV-C and ozone sub-systems
- Single cabinet serviceable design
- Easy-access wiring path and terminal block
- APG2 ozone cells: higher output corona discharge, superior heat performance, durable design
- High flow UV-C chamber
- Variable speed pump compatible
- Built-in drain for winterization
Technical Specifications:

The Science of AOP
- When germicidal UV light (UV-C) and ozone react the result is the production of hydroxyl radicals. This reaction is known as Advanced Oxidation Process, or AOP.
- Hydroxyl radicals (•OH) are the most powerful oxidation agents available, quickly destroying bacteria, viruses, pathogens and other contaminants that occur in water.
