Hayward Cartridge Element CX880XRE

I have always used the Hayward products this. There was a small lip at the connection point to the existing fitting. The filter would not slip onto the fitting. I had to trin the lip off on both ends of the filter. I managed to seat the filters. I have notified Hayward and Sunplay of the problem and gave them the lot number of the filters so they can review the manufacturering error.
