The Jandy Watercolors Light Engines are extremely easy to replace. Practically anyone can do it with just a screwdriver and 8mm socket. (You can even use needle nose pliers, if you don't have small sockets.)
Kit comes with *almost* everything you need to replace the board. The only thing it didn't include were the small o-rings that seal the threads of the retainer screws of the housing. I was able to reuse mine, but it would have been nice to have new ones.
Replacement takes about an hour. Make sure to completely clean the base of all the old heat sink compound. Also make sure to pay attention to the orientation of the lens and unit in the housing. Other than that, very straightforward.
Thank you for this kit. It's an absolute lifesaver. I was really missing the lighting in my pool and spa.
