New back-up valve reduces pool sweep from getting stuck, but not always.

Pentair Low Pressure Back-Up Valve LX10

Installation was easy. However does not work nearly as well as the original valve that came with my Pentair Legend II. The original valve really moved the vacuum around the pool, pulling it back 5 to 7 feet. This new valve struggles to move the vacuum much at all, no matter how I adjust the pressure.
