Tube Sheet Coil (Heat Exchanger) for the following Heaters:

  • Pentair MasterTemp
  • Sta-Rite Max-E-Therm

Kit Includes:

  • Coil / Tubesheet Sealing O'ring Kit.
  • Insulation Kit (77707-0008).
  • Ignitor (77707-0054).
  • Blower Adapter Plate and Gasket Kit (77707-0011).
  • Clamp Ring, Clamp Bolt, nut and O-ring.
Notes:
  • For Natural Gas and Propane 333,000 BTU heaters manufactured after January 12, 2009.

Pentair heater core replacement

I have a Pentair MasterTemp 300 pool heater that was leaking water from the heater combustion tub. My pool was constantly showing high levels of copper so suspected the leak was coming from the heater core. I ordered the 300/333 tube sheet coil 474060 from Sunplay and the kit had everything I needed to do the tube sheet coil (heater core) replacement. The core fit and had all of the o-rings, gaskets, igniter and combustion tub insulation. Sunplay delivered on time and will use them again!

Very easy change out. However why are these parts so expensive… I guess it is still cheaper than buying a new heater.
