Pentair got good reviews but had I known about their faulty manifolds, I would have rethought buying a Pentair filter system. Pool is 3 years old and we're on our 3rd Manifold. In reading other blogs, they have a serious issue with this. It is a very weak and poor molding that should not be cracking this easily. We had no problems until we see DE in pool, no high pressure, we did maintenance in accordance to the book, live in a warm climate year round. Huge Hassel to change it out and costly part. I only gave it two stars because when it is working, it works great but we have had 3 different pools in 35 years and none of them had problems like this. Pentair should offer free replacements on these defective parts.
