Have a P955, my old block was fried so i purchased this one for the P955 Sport. It runs a little differently; dosen't seem like the vacuum is as strong as before; seems to be a little lighter than the old block. All that said, I am happy with the purchase, nice to have my pool cleaner back.

Never leave your cleaner in the pool because water is going to get inside the motor block and damage that little board that drives the main jet motor and the two little motors for the wheels. So when you leave your cleaner in thepool like I did, the block eventually takes a crap and must be replaced. You could try to take it apart and clean it with deoxit, but it only runs a few more times and then refuses to even communicate (error 10). I purchased this from Sunplay as a replacement because my local Leslies wanted my first born for one. They pretty much priced it so that I would buy the new model, which I didn't need. So now, the unit runs great again! This will fit you Leslie's proprietary Polaris 650IQ model which is the same model as the 6550. May even work on the new VSR models too.

In their defense I missed the part where they don’t provide warranty, all my fault. Luckily Zodiac comped me a new one once I had it tested.

The part was en exact fit and worked great. This was the best price I could find. Will definitely come back for my pool equipment needs.
