ProTeam PolyQuat 60 - Quart Bottle

PolyQuat 60 is effective at killing most algae types and is also used to control the growth of all types of algae in swimming pools, spas, whirlpools, hot tubs and decorative fountains.

Using this product weekly prevents algae outbreaks from occurring. It is non-foaming and is the preferred choice for use in fountains, stand alone spas, or spas attached to swimming pools. This product is compatible with pools or spas that are sanitized with chlorine or bromine.

Continued use of this product may reduce the amount of chemicals normally required to maintain your pool, spa, hot tub, or fountain. This product can be used during the colder months when swimming pools are covered or no longer in use.

Dosage Requirements:

  • Initial treatment: (freshly filled, cleaned or first treatment)
  • Add 6 to 11 ounces per 10,000 Gallons

Weekly Preventative Maintenance:

  • Add 2 to 4 ounces per 10,000 gallons

Pools With Algae Growth:

  • Add 11 to 17 ounces per 10,000 gallons

Great experience

I was trying to find ProTeam PolyQuat 60 algicide at a reasonable price. Most places were out of stock or the prices were ridiculous. After searching for several days I saw that Sunplay had it in stock at a reasonable price. I was very reluctant to buy from Sunplay due to a not so pleasant experience with an order a couple years ago. But after looking at recent reviews it seemed that things at Sunplay had changed for the better, so I took a chance and placed an order, expecting another bad experience. I couldn't have been more wrong. Communication was fantastic. I was kept in the loop during the entire process, ordered received, when order shipped, etc. The communication means so much. With my previous order there was little communication at first and then when the order didn't arrive on time there was no communication. Sunplay didn't respond to emails and I was unable to make contact by phone. My order did eventually arrive very late. But communication is the key. I understand things get delayed but if you let the customer know, most will understand. I mentioned all that to say that it really looks like Sunplay has corrected those problems, as my recent experience with Sunplay was great and I wouldn't hesitate to order from Sunplay again. Thanks Sunplay.

I've struggled with "yellow" algae in my pool for some time. Copper Sulphate helps, but only temporarily. Polyquat 60, administered as instructed, has eliminated the problem!
