The Caretaker cleaning head removal tool attaches to a standard swimming pool pole with a bolt or you can use the optional pole adapter (4-17-1) for quickly attaching the tool to your pole.

Good fit - weak plastic

So this tool is as advertised. Good enough fit for Caretaker 99 pop-up head remove/install tool. The problem I ran into is with a pop-up head that “resisted removal". I obviously applied too much twisting force trying to remove the head with this tool, as the plastic gave and the tool is now damaged. A stronger material would be more useful in this situation.
